Library membership is by annual subscription. To enroll you need to give us your contact details and pay a membership fee, $5 for beneficiaries and between $10 and $20 for non-beneficiaries.
You will be issued with a membership number and card. Use this number to borrow books (if you forget it we can look it up).
The library operates on a self-issue system. It’s opening hours are:
Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm and
Every Saturday lunchtime, 11am-1.30pm
Using the Library
Books can be borrowed for four weeks. You can take out as many books as you want.
Borrow books by writing your library number and stamping the date on the book’s pocket card. Leave the card in the card box. Date-stamp the slip inside the back cover with the return date.
Renew books by calling or emailing with the author’s name, book title and your name. Email us at
info@womenz.org.nz.
Return books to the basket in the library, or after hours to the letterbox on the porch.
