Breast screening at the centre
The Breast Screen New Zealand bus will be parked on the Women's Centre's front lawn from Monday January 18 to Wednesday February 10 2010.  Free for women aged 45 -65

Is sex more like dancing or digestion? Unpacking the medicalization of sexuality
Sex has recently been medicalized, meaning it has been turned into a matter of health rather than of hobby, but this now-dominant model is not the only (or best!) way to conceptualize sex. The medicalization of sex is a trend fostered by a wide variety of social and economic developments. It is surprisingly interesting to unpack the intellectual assumptions underlying this shift
